I did something

It’s going to be über-warm today so Kaz got up early and went for a ride while I addressed a task that has been lurking in the background for some time at Rollerson Towers. A sample of the in-laws is coming to visit in a fortnight and we need to make some space for them. I had to move stuff from the spare room out to the back room where the Indonesian furniture my brother bought in a fit of failed entrepreneurialship is kept. I reckon that hour’s work has earned me the rest of the day on the sofa, don’t you think?

  1. I can’t believe you moved all that stuff in 24 seconds Bruce. You must be exhausted.

  2. Congratulations, you have passed compactification 101. Awesome christmas hat. Love the time lapse stuff too…If I wasn’t so useless I would have done something similar with the paving project!

If you want to do more manual work feel free to come around and help me do some paving, which reminds me – I still have to take a look at that HDD of yours!

    • There are still a few spaces between chair legs and things. I’ve learnt one time lapse lesson – turn off the auto-focus. It’s causing all that flickering. And yes, I need to bring around that HDD and some bar ends for you. Keep up the good paving work!

  3. We had a good Christmas fella although the Santa thing almost got blown. Connor asked where one of his pile of presents came from and Helena replied “Myer” before quickly ‘correcting’ herself. Hope you had a good one. Did your mum wheel out the pavlova this year?

    • That’s the way – the seeds of doubt have been sown. We didn’t just get pavlova this year. There was home-made ice cream and cassata as well. There’s sure to still be some in Mum and Dad’s freezer. Must pop by there tomorrow.

  4. Quite a feat. I think it scores you a week free of obligations including personal hygiene. Can you add some whimsical soundtrack to the video?

    • Needs some sort of natty 24-second tune. Maybe a speeded up version of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Today we’ve had to evacuate to Ma and Pa Rollerson’s where there is the air-conditioner. This will help my personal hygiene somewhat.
